Thermal Imaging Monocular ZOOM ZH38
The ZH38 is a high-end thermal imaging monocular for outdoor. It has three “FIRSTS” in the industry, those are dual field of view (FOV), 1440×1080 high display resolution and shutterless technology.
While maintaining the advantages of clear images, the ZH38 also has a variety of diversified color options, PIP, digital zoom, hot spot tracking, probability range-finding and other functions. It could be extensively used for night hunting, observation and terrain positioning, search and rescue, etc.

The First “FIRST” — Dual Field of View Design
The first breakthrough innovation is our “zoom as you wish” function. Using the unique dual FOV and 2× optical zoom, the user can quickly switch the dual FOV manually, a larger FOV with a focal length of 19mm is used for target search while a smaller FOV with a focal length of 38mm for target identification. Meet the need to see far, accurately and clearly.
High Image Quality with NETD ≤25mK
The imaging effect of ZOOM series can withstand the test as always, ZH38 is equipped with uncooled Vox 12μm 640×512 high resolution sensor featuring NETD ≤25mk (25 °C, F#=1.0). And with ultra clear function, your adventures will never again be stopped by even the worst weather conditions.
Better image quality is provided with the powerful sensor and image algorithms, which will bring you a different clear outdoor experience.
10 Hours ×2 Batteries
The ZOOM series uses low-power components, lower power consumption, with a replaceable 4400mAh large-capacity lithium battery pack, battery life up to 10 hours, additional battery pack as standard, battery life up to 20 hours, to achieve long-term outdoor operation worry-free.
ZH38 is built with memory of 32GB which can support to store video and pictures, while the built-in WiFi module supports APP applications.
Picture-In-Picture Function
Built-in Picture-in-Picture function of ZH38 improves accuracy by providing a 2x magnified image of the reticle area at the top of the display. It helps users to zoom in on the targets while retaining the rest of the field of view visible.
5 Color Palettes
For different hunting environments and personal habits, the ZOOM series still includes 5 color modes: white hot, black hot, red hot, color and hot target highlight. Especially in the hot target highlight, the hottest spot in the environment can be automatically and quickly captured in order to find the target.

Timeless Technologies would like to bring the following under your attention of steps that has to be taken with the knowledge that we have available until we have clarification on the matter as discussed below.
In order to legally distribute, sell and market ML Munitions items as classified by the Wassenaar Arrangement (thermal rifle scopes) in the Republic, the DCAC (Directorate Conventional Arms Control) requires sufficient documentation and registration to be in place. Timeless Technologies (Pty) LTD, is registered with the DCAC (Directorate Conventional Arms Control) as a dealer of thermal electro-optical equipment.

According to the Wassenaar Arrangement, thermal rifle scopes classifies as part Munitions List (ML1 / ML1d5) thus we need to follow the laws set out by the National Conventional Arms Control Act 41 of 2002.
These laws govern the dealing, brokering, marketing and possession of these controlled items set out by the Munitions List.
Therefore, the following certification and permits needs to be adhered to for any business or individual who is in possession of a controlled item on the Munition List (thermal rifle scope):

DCAC Registration Certificate:
The registration certificate is required to possess any of the controlled items, render other services related to controlled items including transportation and freight forwarding services.
Certificate must be renewed every three years.
Possession Permit:
The possession permit is required to enable a person to possess and use controlled items for lawful purposes without the intention to trade such items and may be issued for possession of the controlled items specified therein for business or private collection.
Domestic transfer authorisation:
In the event that the owner wants to change the ownership of the controlled item, a written authorisation from the committee is required. This will enable the owner that is in possession of the controlled item to transfer the controlled item to the new owner within the Republic.
This authorisation is not required if the controlled items is transferred temporarily for the purpose of evaluation, testing, maintenance, repair or upgrade.
Destruction authorisation:
In the event that the owner wants to dispose of the controlled item, a written destruction consent is required from the committee.
Please note as we are still investigating all the legal requirements and documents required from the DCAC to establish a more set out guideline for what is expected from the DCAC. We are in direct contact with the committee to establish the clear guidelines. Thus, should any of the above laws and regulations change, we will be in contact with you.
