Lunetta Javelin 4.5-30×56 SMR-1
A. scope with a wide range of applications, both for long-distance shooters and hunters.
The appropriate magnification range makes this model ideal for hunters all over the world. The side parallax adjustment knob in the range from 10m to infinity will be appreciated by sports shooters. Three grids are available, all with an illuminated central point: 4A S, 4A SB and Di MD
The 4A SB reticle is based on the classic Delta Optical 4A S reticle with specially designed ballistic markers. The reticle is scaled for 12x magnification and a distance of 100 m. The markers are located under the central point at a distance of 7 cm and allow corrections to be made when firing at distances from 150 to 300 m with projectiles with initial velocities in the range of 800-900 m/s.
For example, in the case of a weapon (308 WIN, 10.7 g bullet, 820 m/s) zeroed at a distance of 100 m, if you want to shoot at 200 m, you have to use the second marker below the aiming point (14 cm compensation). Other projectiles with an initial velocity of about 900 m/s will be placed about 1-3 cm above the aiming point, and slower projectiles (initial velocity about 800 m/s) will hit below the target about 1-3 cm.
The ends of the horizontal markers can be used for wind corrections. The first marker located 7 cm below the central point is 9 cm long, the others 18 cm each.
At 8x magnification, the reticle practically becomes a MIL type cross (scaled in milliradians) with markers spaced every 10 cm (1 MIL over a distance of 100m). On the other hand, at 17x magnification, the markers are placed on the target every 5cm.
