ThermTec Wild 650 Thermal Imaging Camera

The Wild 650L is a high-performance thermal monocular designed for superior thermal imaging in various applications such as scanning, surveillance, hunting, and search and rescue. It features a 50mm f/0.9 objective lens that captures detailed thermal radiation with a field of view (FOV) of 8.8 x 7 degrees. The monocular offers 4x digital zoom for enlarging specific parts of the image, with an eye relief distance of 40mm and an exit pupil diameter of 6mm.

At the heart of the Wild 650L is an uncooled 12µm sensor with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels and a refresh rate of 50Hz. The device operates within the 8µm to 14µm infrared spectrum, providing excellent thermal contrast with a NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of <18mK. This combination ensures crisp and clear imaging even in challenging conditions.

The monocular is built to endure tough environments with an IP67 rating, offering protection against dust, shocks, and water splashes, including submersion.
